Critiques
Originality: This artwork screams "Look at me! I'm original!". The artwork looks like it has been taken in twilight or dusk. The hazy look gives it a mysterious feel, which makes us think "Ooh, this looks dark and interesting.". I haven't seen anything as impressive as this in the 'Flowers & Plants' sub-category. I chose to critique this because it stood out from the rest, as if it wanted to be critiqued.
Technique: I think that the artist used lots of time and patience to get this shot right. He exhibits advanced knowledge of photography and Bokeh. =mr-twingo brings focus to nature photography through this amazing image.
Impact: The artwork "Swimming" evokes a feeling of sorrow and serenity, as if it a memorial to somebody special. It makes me think of a young boy or girl walking through a field of wheat, with the sun trying to burst through stormy clouds.
Deviousness: Overall, this image is in one word, incredible. The composition, the lighting, the concept and the simplicity of it all make it special. If I was a gallery moderator, I would instantly give it a DD.
